i really admire this webpage, bringing survivors, grieving families and friends together to help and support each other. I lost a very good friend nearly 4 years ago now and still feels like yesterday. the hurt never goes away but with the likes of road angels legacy it can make a difference and stop a family from losing a loved one. RIP Rory Duncan my big friend, always in our thoughts and prayers.

Looked for your website after hearing a very moving talk from Francis Mc Daid at the local public meeting of our DPP. I don't any one in the room failed to be moved by Francis, Gavin our eldest foster child and myself are working on a road safety project for young drivers and their passengers. We can be found on facebook under Cruise Centre or twitter at CruiseCentrecc. We will be contacting your group to see if there are any ideas we can help work on in the future.

My partner was killed by a drunk driver and my three childern and myself were badly injured and nearly killed. If you drink and drive, in my eyes it is murder they should lock them up and throw away the key!
Yet, they can  move on and the families left behind get a life sentence, it's so unfair.  This site lets us know we are not alone. Thank you x

this is a great site well done could i add i am a member of grieving families united and i have found great comfort from the meetings since i lost my 16 year old son i would recommend to anyone who has lost a loved one to give it a go god bless x

I was stopped by an officer this evening, who is a road angel. I was speeding through Cannock chase. He read me the riot act - justifiably. What he made me aware of was probably not what he meant to. The reality was that I was less likely to kill or injure someone else on this long straight relatively quite road. I was most likely to kill myself which would have brought a lot of problems and upset to those I love. He knows who is. Everything he said I have taken on board. My driving will be much more thoughtful.

MY DAUGHTER WAS KILLED BY A SO CALLED SPEEDING DRIVER ON  15/09/2007.. AND HE WALKED FREE WITH A SUSPENDED STENTENCE .. CAR  CRIME IN N.I.   IS A JOKE .. IN OUR OPINION HE MURDERDERD HER ...   R.I.P. WEE PRINCESS XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

such a touching and supportive site, It really brings the tragedy of drink driving home, hopefully it will make a few people make the right decision and save innocent lives..God Bless
